Last night, John Cope's family watched as the World outside seemed to crash and burn.
Explosions, screaming, chaos and panic. And that was just inside the house.
And then ... silence.
The calm after the storm.
What happened??! Where is everyone??! Had they been invaded? A World War? AI gone crazy? Skynet ?

John needed a plan, and he needed it fast. With a half-full fridge and a family already complaining, he has to work out how to survive until the lights came back on.

And they needed to be careful. Everyone remembers how humans tore each other apart for toilet rolls during the Covid pandemic, and at least two of his family needed the toilet already…
